The optimal nutrition in cross-county skiing

Cross-country skiing is the supreme discipline of endurance sports, almost every muscle of the body is needed for efficient movement on two skis. This results in high energy consumption and very high oxygen uptake. Thus, cross-country skiing is also an interesting training stimulus for cyclists, triathletes or runners.

Katharina and our product developer Robert (nutrition expert for many well-known top athletes from different disciplines) discuss in the expert talk among other things what to pay attention to when eating in winter sports and what the differences are between training in warm and cold temperatures.

The webinar also provides amateur athletes with concrete catering strategies for various training sessions in cross-country skiing.

PERFORMANCE ENHANCEMENT THROUGH OPTIMIZED SPORTS NUTRITION

The two top athletes Laura Philipp (Triathlon Ironman European Champion 2021) and Lisa Brennauer (Olympic Champion / World and European Champion 2021 in cycling) show the importance of nutrition in their daily training and competition. They also tell what a great influence an optimized sports nutrition has on their current successes. These two practical experiences are accompanied by our product developer Robert Gorgos. Robert will report, in his usual entertaining manner, on the latest findings in nutritional science.

Even amateur athletes get valuable knowledge and easy-to-implement practical tips for achieving their own personal athletic goals and a higher level of fitness.

Afterwards, our two top athletes Laura Philipp and Lisa Brennauer, as well as our expert Robert Gorgosn will be happy to answer your questions.
